We welcome videos from published poets. Acceptance will be determined by the poetry editor and technical staff.

Many computers come with built in mics and cameras, making the process of self recording much easier. We can consider recordings of a poet created in this manner. We recommend you stand in front of a computer which has a video cam attached to it, and speak clearly into the microphone. Save the video as a MP4 file, then e-mail us at michael@poetryvlog.com and we will give you simple instructions how to either ftp it or send it to us as an e-mail attachment.

Using a standard digital camera or video camcorder with a SDcard or miniDV tape and a built-in mic you can record your reading, then send us the card or tape which we will return, or transfer the recording from the camera to your computer, save it as a MP4 file, then e-mail us at michael@poetryvlog.com and we will give you simple instructions how to either ftp it or send it to us as an e-mail attachment.

We prefer to maintain a relatively consistent format and production style, so please see videos we have already posted prior to your recording.
